Established by the Grand View Culture & Art Foundation, GVAV is the physical realization of the Foundation’s dedication to nurturing talent. Since 2008, the Foundation has supported over 70 artists and critics through initiatives like the Grand View Emerging Artists Award.
In 2025, GVAV officially launched its annual residency program, focusing on three core visions: Diverse Creation, Local Care with Global Vision, and Cultural Inclusion. The Foundation’s efforts have been recognized with multiple Arts & Business Awards from the Ministry of Culture, including the Cultural Equity Award in 2025 for its commitment to inclusive design and accessible programming.
Moving beyond the one-way model of the Grand View Emerging Artists Award, GVAV has developed a physical platform for creation and exchange. It supports professional artistic production while opening a space where the public can encounter art as part of everyday life.
Through residency programs rooted in local history and everyday life, GVAV engages with the cultural character of the place while supporting dialogue across regions and contexts. It acts as a platform for exchange and connection.
By partnering with local communities and industry organizations, we actively support and participate in various arts festivals and experiential activities. Our goal is to deepen public understanding and appreciation of local multicultural values while fostering a sustainable legacy of cultural hybridization to enrich the region’s cultural diversity.
